Cool shops that will save you for Christmas

Cool shops that will save you for Christmas

Christmas gifts are at the last minute, we all know that... So to change from the big brands and find happiness and originality, here is a small list of shops, concept blinds and pop-ups that match Christmas. To attend this weekend or even next weekend!

Le Peloton de Paris à Mechelen

A shop based in Mechelen which has been in insolent health for almost 5 years and has an original proposal: it is totally dedicated to cycling clothing and the world of cycling. With prints that will totally change from what you see on the Tour de France or the small Belgian roads. Original, funny and sexy. Yes we said sexy and cyclist in the same sentence, thank you Peloton de Paris.

Hoogstraat 49 - 2800 Mechelen

Kanal Store

An ephemeral concept store dedicated 100% to Belgian creation, in the heart of the Kanal Center Pompidou, resulting from the collaboration between hub.brussels and the Kanal Foundation. Here, no museum pieces printed on coasters or thimbles, but a place that brings together around twenty designers selected by a jury to present their original and unique creations. Each creator thus benefits from a showcase to make themselves known to the public. To consume artistic and local, there is no better and you can find jewelry, fashion items, accessories, decoration, children's furniture, stationery...

At the Kanal, Quai des Péniches - 1000 Brussels

Aésop

The new Aésop store is "brand new", designed by the architect Bernard Dubois, and respects the brand's DNA: no store is like another! But how beautiful are they. Going there is almost a way to recharge your batteries in a relaxing environment and then you can choose a body cream, a bottle of liquid soap, hair or skin care. Aésop is Australia's most important beauty export product, its brown bottles and cream labels are recognizable among a thousand and directly fit a bathroom... The first boutique in Belgium opened in November in Antwerp, with a a striking nod to René Magritte and Victor Horta.

It will also be an opportunity to discover the Brüsseloise, a white wine recently put on the market by the micro-brewery. From noon to 6 p.m., 100% Belgian beers will be sold in bottles and to take away. From 6 p.m. the beverage will only be served by the glass, for on-site tastings.

Roxane Baines

Designer Roxane Baines' knitwear is something to (re)discover every time. We love her eye for the fall of a garment, her delicacy in the details and the comfort of her sweaters and cardigans. A pop-up welcomes her collections of knitwear and clothing in addition to paintings and objects found by Lidia Szynkiewicz and Anne Germe.
