“Thanks to a process of depolymerization and repolymerization, the Econyl thread can be recycled indefinitely without ever losing in quality,” underlines the Milanese label whose nylon is an emblematic material.
Prada specifies that the group's objective is that all of its clothes and accessories currently made of classic nylon are in Econyl by the end of 2021.
Sustainable luxury is a booming trend in the fashion world and several luxury brands already use nylon based on recycled plastics, including Stella McCartney stylist or adidas sports clothing brand.
