FASHION COLLABORATION. Eastpak and MM6 Maison Margiela have together imagined the perfect couture backpack, which takes us back to the college years.

Wednesday 8 a.m., Technology with Mr. B.. 9 a.m., French with Mrs. F.. 11 a.m., German with Mrs. P.. Between two classes, Mohamed and Sacha take themselves for Zidane in the playground while Doriane, Isaure and Anna grab a package of Skittles at the vending machine. Welcome to the daily life of college students at the beginning of the 00's.

Their official uniform? A pair of Puma, DDP jeans and an Eastpak backpack, worn super low on the buttocks please. Over the years, this teenage it bag was covered with Tipex, inscriptions and drawings scattered on the canvas (preferably black) haphazardly. More gifted than us in terms of styling, the MM6 Maison Margiela teams also customized the Eastpak bag during a collaboration available from October 15, 2021.

Back to school with Eastpak x MM6 Maison Margiela

The luxury house has reinterpreted five models of Eastpak bags, including the classic Padded Pak'r and the Springer banana. Available in blue, black, white and red, some of these it pieces are reversible and sell for between 100 and 210 euros. The MM6 Maison Margiela touch can be found in the faded topstitching, the split labels or even the common theme of the collection, the inside out/upside down.

This is not the first time that Eastpak has entrusted its bags to a fashion brand. Jean Paul Gaultier, Raf Simons, Ami and the concept store Kith have already had the opportunity to reinvent this classic.
