The American luxury house, which celebrates its 80th anniversary this year, is launching a series of limited-edition NFTs to be gleaned from its virtual "Snow City" initiative.

Coach: 80 candles, 80 NFTs.

On the occasion of the end of year celebrations, Coach unveiled a few days ago "Snow City", an online game inspired by its brand universe. Accessible via smartphone, the latter highlights Rexy, the claw's favorite dinosaur, accompanied by a whole digital bestiary: polar bear, penguin, fox, hedgehog, deer...

The idea? Propel a virtual snowball and make it navigate the streets of New York, birthplace of the brand, in order to collect materialized points as little hearts. The higher the score, the more the user can unlock new animals and try to win prizes.

As a guide to closing the anniversary celebrations, Coach has thus imagined 80 NFTs accessible within the game. Representing the star animals of this operation, these NFTs are launched this December 17 at noon (US time) at the rhythm of a character per day, in ten copies.

The initiative will end on December 24 when each NFT will allow its holder to obtain a branded bag - the "Rogue" model - personalized.

If Coach presents this initiative as "its first collection of NFTs", the house had already partnered with the Chinese edition of GQ magazine to imagine six exclusive NFTs on Ethereum last September.

This summer, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of its founder, the house of Louis Vuitton also launched an online game including 30 NFTs to collect.
