A somewhat special exhibition, since it extends over six different places, six most prestigious museums in Paris: the Georges-Pompidou Center, the Museum of Modern Art in the City of Paris, the Louvre, the Museum of'Orsay, the Picasso Museum and of course the Yves Saint Laurent Museum.

Aurélie Samuel is the director of the collections of the latter and she presents with Mouna Mekouar, general co-commissioner of this multi-site exhibition.The opportunity to rediscover the first designer that was exposed during his lifetime in a Museum of Fine Arts, in this case the Metropolitan Museum in New York in 1983.
