Valuation of unsold items: weturn accelerates the deployment of its offer

Founded in 2020, weturn is the first company to offer players in the textile industry the possibility of recovering unsold goods in a 100% closed loop: unused textiles, previously destroyed or sent abroad then become new textiles and products. quality recycled materials in Europe.

After a year of pilot projects and partnerships with major Maisons in France and Europe and one month before the entry into force of the AGEC law, weturn is strengthening its support for players in the textile industry. Thus the company which launched just a year ago, a new logistics and industrial sector is accelerating the development of the recovery of unsold goods through three major axes

1.A platform dedicated to monitoring the textile recycling project

The service is evolving with the launch of a 100% digital tool dedicated to the recovery of unsold items: a platform to follow all stages of the recycling project. Thanks to this 100% B2B application, users (brands, manufacturers or distributors) share the inventory of their excess stock with the weturn team, which ensures sorting according to a method developed in-house, logistics, then processing. into new yarns, and finally the re-marketing of new raw materials. At the end of the project, the brands have access to an infographic allowing them to measure the impact of recycling their unused products into new raw materials.

2. A certificate of compliance issued for the brands involved

To accompany the impact reports, weturn will provide its customers with an AGEC Law compliance certificate from January 2022. This document guarantees the non-destruction of unsold stocks valued by weturn and can thus support the commitment made by the brands in the event of an inspection.

3.The launch of the eco-design center for better traceability

weturn launches its eco-design center for brands wishing to use European recycled materials that are 100% traceable. This service, which complements the recycling offer, offers brands textiles on demand, with weavers and knitters from the European textile basin (France, Italy, Spain and Portugal).
