Inheritance.How the fortified castle of Pirou has evolved over the centuries
Saturday, December 11, at 3 p.m., the Society of Archeology and History of the Manche (SAHM) will broadcast on the internet a videoconferencing entitled: "The history of the military architecture of the Pirou castle".
Jean-Christian Poutiers, docteur en histoire et en archéologie, parlera de l'évolution de cet ancien château fort, depuis sa construction au XIIe siècle jusqu'à la Renaissance. "Il faut aussi saluer la performance de Jean-Christian Poutiers, qui, atteint de cécité, mène de mémoire cette conférence de façon magistrale", détaille le communiqué de la SAHM. "Jean-Christian Poutiers a une conférence phénoménale de l'histoire", abonde Marc-Alphonse Forget, président de la SAHM.
