In terms of style, the DS 4 presents a dress of large designer, perfectly chiseled, in perfect proportions like its front side, its 3D grille in honeycomb and its tapered led optics, its fluid profile withA custod with neat drawing, and its thin rear lights with a progressive effect of scales engraved with laser.
The 20 -inch wheels contribute to its charm but its classic air does not revolutionize the aesthetics, as did the DS19.Similarly, its technology welcoming, among other things, electric hybridization and soon a 100 % electric motorization is not surprising while the DS19 surprised by its hydropneumatic velvet suspension.
On the other hand, the DS 4 actually displays a refined interior, a hand -sewn and high -quality materials, however reserved for high finishes, acclaimed by customers.

Comfort and functionality
He therefore lives well on board the DS 4. The driving position, drawn in a single line and functional in his commands and his reading, is a model of the genre.

Under its hood, the DS 4 first receives a rechargeable hybrid motorization (from € 38,200) which relies on a 4 -cylinder 1.6 liter petrol 180 hp and an electric machine of 110 hp coupled toA battery with a capacity of 12.4 kWh, allowing an autonomy of 55 kilometers in only electric mode.
The combined power comes out at 225 hp and the 360 Nm torque allows a 0 to 100 km/h in 7’’7 and the maximum speed is 233 km/h.In "Hybrid" mode, on a city-road route and letting the 8-speed car gearbox (standard throughout the range), consumption is easily established between 2 and 3 liters.
The 1.6 -liter petrol version of 225 hp (from € 42,200) cannot show so much sobriety but, with equal finish, it costs € 3,000 less and weighs 250 kg less, or 1,400 kg.
The latter aligns the same performance by obviously more agile while handling and comfort are comparable with high -level soundproofing.The 1.6 -liter petrol is also available in 180 hp, to which is added a 3 cylinder 1.2 liter petrol of 130 hp and a 1.5 -liter diesel of 130 hp.
