The employee of a subcontractor of a luxury leather goods brand is suspected of having diverted around twenty bags.The young woman, aged 26 and living in Seine-et-Marne, was arrested this Tuesday, reveals the Republic of Seine-et-Marne.
Responsible for controlling quality, the employee is suspected of having declared bags like not respecting the specifications of the company.She would then have recovered them before they were destroyed, then sold on the internet with a false certificate of authenticity.
Found thanks to its IP address
Alerted, the brand filed a complaint last July.Investigators were able to find the crook quickly via the IP address used.The gendarmes went to search the young woman's home.
A sum of 3.400 euros, high-tech equipment and fashion accessories have been seized by the investigators, indicate our colleagues.After admitting the facts, the employee was released awaiting her judgment, scheduled for early 2022.
