Born in Château-Gontier, Eva Verwicht launches her brand of fashion accessories

Verwicht. The name is known in Château-Gontier (Mayenne). Eva's grandfather was the manager of Brochage 3000, the printing press based in Fromyers (Mayenne). His granddaughter Eva grew up in Château-Gontier (Mayenne) until she was 18. Today, she launches her brand of fashion accessories in leather goods, Verwicht.
Very early, Eva Verwicht knew what she wanted to do in her life.

Educated at the Collège Jean-Rostand in Château-Gontier (Mayenne), Eva Verwicht was already considering working in art when she grew up.
Its extracurricular activities are in line with its aspirations.
Fashion: a goal from college
Alors c’est décidé. Après la 3e au collège, Eva Verwicht s’oriente vers un bac spécialisé dans les arts appliqués.
She joined the École de Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) in 2014, then the École Nationale d'Arts Supérieurs Duperré in Paris.

In the last year of her studies, she created a collection of bags and shoes, pieces between accessory and sculpture. Passionate about sailing, the young woman likes to create seabed sculptures.
Twice finalists of prestigious competitions
In 2020, Eva Verwicht was a finalist in two international competitions, at the International Support Talent in Italy and at the International Festival of fashion, accessories and Photography in Hyères, France.
It is the recognition of a certain legitimacy in a very competitive environment, where there are many people from business schools, with a business vision.
After working at Dior, Eva Verwicht has just created her brand of fashion accessories, called Verwicht, in leather goods on Saturday, October 23, 2021. She designs high-end handmade bags.
In Paris, where she opened a workshop, the young woman from Château-Gontier (Mayenne) learns to sell herself from shops. Objective: to deliver its first bag orders.
