Émilie, maroquinière chez Serge Amoruso : “Le plaisir de travailler des matières rares”

Very demanding selection criteria

"Concretely, when a young person was pre-selected by a school, he passes a battery of tests with us but he does not have to look for the reception house to carry out his alternation," specifies Florence Rambaud. "Nous recherchons des candidats extrêmement motivés car ces métiers exigent d'être passionnés".At Louis Vuitton, her employer, Anaïs thus met human resources officials for a series of psychotechnical tests and practical tests to measure her skill with pieces of leather."I also had a very classic motivation interview.I put forward my passion, my visceral desire to be in this job. Deux jours plus tard, les résultats étaient positifs et je signais mon contrat de professionnalisation !", se remémore Anaïs.

In the coming weeks, the young professional will follow "masterclass", a system specific to the IME: visits to exhibitions, exchanges with experts, creators and craftsmen of the group, visits to workshops and stores, study trips. In June, Anaïs will take the exams for obtaining her CAP. Son contrat en alternance prendra fin en juillet. But the young woman is not worried about her professional integration. "L'Institut des métiers d'excellence nous ouvre des portes dans tout le groupe".In the previous promotion, 61% of graduates found a position in one of the 35 houses in the LVMH group or with companies working with them: a real luxury!
