Dongfeng cedes for 600 million euros in shares in Stellantis
In a communication on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Dongfeng said it has sold 36.1 million Stellantis shares, listed at 16.65 euros.It retains almost 4.5% participation in the automotive group.
Stellantis comes from the merger at the beginning of the year of the French PSA and the Italian-American Fiat Chrysler, with brands also including Alfa Romeo, Jeep and Maserati.
Dongfeng, based in the Chinese city of Wuhan, was a former PSA investor and was to sell his shares by the end of 2022 as part of the merger agreement.
The press release does not specify who bought the shares sold by Dongfeng.
