Paris: a plainclothes policeman seriously injured with a knife

A 29-year-old policeman was stabbed Sunday at the Italy 2 shopping center in the 13th arrondissement. His vital prognosis is no longer engaged. A suspected attacker was arrested in the evening.
A 29-year-old "off-duty" policeman was seriously injured with a knife at the Italy 2 shopping center in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, Le Figaro learned from police sources. The assault occurred on Sunday, November 28 around 6:40 p.m. while the policeman and his companion were hugging and kissing.

Four young people - described in the description that we were able to consult as "individuals of the African type" - bothered them with derogatory remarks. The policeman, who was putting his partner away, was then pushed aside by one of the young people. An explanation followed on a forecourt on the 2nd floor of the shopping center during which the police officer received two stab wounds in the abdomen.
The policeman evacuated in absolute urgency
The official was transported to the Henri Mondor hospital in Créteil (Val-de-Marne) in absolute urgency. A police source indicated in the evening to Figaro that his vital prognosis was no longer engaged, after having been there for a while. A suspected attacker, identified via video surveillance, was arrested on Sunday at 8:25 p.m. in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. Placed in police custody, he admitted his participation in the attack.
“An investigation has been opened and all means are being used to find the perpetrators of this unbearable act,” reacted Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin on Twitter.
“The Prefect of Police gives his full support to the police officer of the DSPAP (direction of the proximity security of the Parisian agglomeration, editor’s note) out of service seriously injured by stabbing in Paris 13th following a dispute. The perpetrators of this attack are actively sought,” tweeted the Paris police headquarters.
