McFly and Carlito in the air: 'Now it's Mr. President's turn'
Thing promised, thing due. The extreme challenge, launched by Emmanuel Macron on May 5, at the end of a "contest of anecdotes" to fly with the patrol of France, on the day of the national holiday, has been taken up. The previous video of the two Youtubers on barrier gestures with the President had been viewed more than 10 million times.
Up before 6 a.m. on Wednesday July 14, McFly and Carlito joined the Patrouille de France at Villacoublay Air Base to prepare to fly over the Champs-Élysées with the Patrouille de France.

The challenge turned out to be an unforgettable experience. As they got off the plane, McFly and Carlito gave their first impressions. "Friends, that's it, we're on the ground, we're back," McFly said in an Instagram story. “You will see everything in the video that comes out on Sunday,” he added before expressing his gratitude to the Air Force. “They took the time to explain to us, put us at ease, they respect YouTube and above all know how to convey their passion,” Carlito posted on his Instagram account.

Several weeks earlier, the persons concerned had lent themselves to a battery of examinations at the military hospital of Percy, such a flight not being trivial. "It was a real pledge, it was done," insisted McFly. He took the opportunity to remind that he and his partner are not the only ones to have made commitments. "Now it's Mr. President's turn," he added facing the camera. The Head of State had undertaken to display the portrait of the duo during a public speech. At the time of his promise, he did not foresee that the next time he would address the French would be in the context of the progression of the Delta variant. "Given the very tense context, it would still be a little offbeat," explained a close friend of the head of state. Youtubers will probably have to wait a little longer before seeing Emmanuel Macron fulfill his part of the contract.
