La boutique éphémère « Au Chat Potelé » a ouvert ses portes rue du Général de Gaulle, à Gaillon (Eure), début novembre.

An ephemeral boutique "Au Cat chopée" opened Tuesday in Gaillon, at 48, rue du Général de Gaulle.

Upon entering the shop, it is a cocooning space that the customer discovers.Nothing differs from a classic trade, neat decoration, and atmosphere close to the values of its owner, and very extensive offer.The difference is that the articles are unique and that the lifespan of the place is ephemeral.
It is Coralie Gougeon, creator of zero waste accessories jewelry, who is behind this project.
"I had the idea already last year but it did not.I carried out the administrative procedures, a month ago but as it takes time, I would not have had the authorization for the opening.So the town hall supported my project and gave an authorization, ”explains the enthusiast of jewelry.

Local craftsmanship
The designer decided not to get started alone and offered to four other craftsmen to join her: Katia Giton, Gaillonnaise who produces magnificent mosaics, Caroline Amblard de Saint-Julien-de-la-Liègue and her creations"From ideas", Isabelle Georgel of the workshop "Wood and colors" of Venables and Mélissa Bougie, a designer of the Rouen region.
"It is an exchange with some and a friendly proposal with others.I could not fill the whole shop with my creations so mutual aid between entrepreneurs is good, "she explains.
"I think it's an excellent initiative.This shop brings a little novelty and animation in the city center.It will allow, I hope, the discovery of part of local crafts by the inhabitants of Gaillon and the surroundings, "said Caroline Amblard.
La boutique éphémère de Coralie Gougeon est ouverte jusqu’au 23 décembre, du mardi au samedi de 9 h 30 à 12 h 30 et de 14 h 30 à 19 h.
