An ephemeral shop settles in the old town hall near Caen
Until the end of December 2021, an ephemeral shop is setting up at the reception of the old town hall in Cambes-en-Plaine. You can find jewelry, clothes or shoes there.

The idea of setting up an ephemeral shop in Cambes-en-Plaine, near Caen (Calvados), was born during the health crisis which paralyzed the activity of three independent door-to-door sellers (VDI). Catherine, Cambaise since 1980, called one of her neighbors who happens to be an elected member of the municipal council.

The project was validated and an agreement allowed the installation of the shop in the old town hall. Catherine offers Pierre Lang jewelry, handcrafted in Austria, and shoes from the Les Points Roses brand, created in Toulouse. Eliane presents two “chic and casual” ready-to-wear clothing racks for women, from French or Italian brands, from 34 to 52, and at affordable prices. As for Michèle, she sharpens our gluttony with the products imagined and developed by the founder of the Toqués d'Epices company based in Biéville-Beuville.
"Bringing the village to life"
This shop is a unique adventure for these three longtime friends. Since they retired (from the CHU for two of them, the other was a former accountant), door-to-door sales have become their main activity, and obviously, they like it, for the pleasure of contact.

Suffice to say that the atmosphere is most pleasant in the small shop. We can try on the clothes and leave with them. For other products, you can choose, taste, order and be delivered within a week. “As a VDI, we cannot make direct sales”.
